I’ve just
started
my period

#help, #periods

That's great! It's a sign you're becoming a young woman. Lots of girls start off using pads. Ask your mum, sister or aunt for some so you’re always prepared. Before you go to bed, you may want to switch to specially designed night time pads that'll give you a little bit more protection until you wake up the next morning.

When will
I get the
next one?

Once you're in a regular pattern, it'll arrive between 21 - 34 days later. But to start off with, it could take longer than that. It can take your body between 12 - 18 months to fall into its own regular pattern.

The first 2 years of your period will be all over the place, and large gaps like these are most certainly possible! It’s really nothing you should be worried about! Just go about your day and keep period products in your bag in case you get it. Love you <3

My third period was so heavy and it was terrible. I was getting really bad cramps and I felt this MASSIVE gush of blood every time I got up and I kept leaking especially when I got up in the morning and my pad overflowed 😭😰😨😫😩
