Bullet Journals

#bulletjournal, #guestbloggerblair

According to scientists keeping a journal is a great way to relieve stress and anxiety, they can also help you, as a teen stay on track when you have a lot going on…and what teen doesn’t!!

Juggling school, chores, sports and a social life can be exhausting right!

Normal planners can be boring, and may make you feel boxed in and uninspired.

This is where the bullet journal comes in....the newest way to be both organized and creative.

You can use any blank notepad or book, my favourite kind to use has graph paper as its easier to use and to display your ideas and tasks.

So, what kind of things can you use your bullet journal for?

Homework tracker

keeps you on the ball, and you can get creative. Create headings and tasks required for each class you have and most importantly when they are due!

We're including ideas and inspiration throughout to inspire your own journal...

Time Management

Not every teen is naturally organised, don't worry It takes practise. Get started with tracking your own appointments and upcoming events.

Goals & To Do lists

Write down a list of goals you want to achieve, then you can check back and tick them off as you complete. The same can be done for ‘To Do lists’. In fact, you can make to do lists for anything and everything...films you want to see, places you want to visit, food you can’t wait to try....

More ideas....

  • Books to read
  • Favourite quotes
  • Wish lists
  • Friends birthdays
  • Things that make you happy

You don't just have to write......draw pictures, glue in images from magazines or just go wild with coloured pens.

There are no rules, there are no right or wrongs when it comes to journaling just remember to keep it personal and let your creativity SHINE.

Suggestions

Hi! I've just decided to make a 2023 Bullet journal, I was inspired by my friends one and I decided to make my own. Here are a few simple steps on how I made mine! - 1) Buy or find a notebook, I suggest ones with dots or bullets in 2) make sure you have plenty of colourful pens and some pencils! 3) collect some theme ideas on Google for each months cover page 4) Start! I would suggest for the beginning of each month do a cover page for February for example write: hello february! And decorate it with that months theme, so if it was flowers do a nice art of flowers surrounding it. Here are some ideas on pages to add- Calendar page Mood tracker Highlight of the day Meals Weather log Sleep tracker Habit tracker Hope this helps! xx

I sort of have a bullet journal but I call it my diary as I have very personal things(crushes, insecurities, feelings ect.)in it and I also keep it locked unless I'm using it.it's a great way to relive any stress I have about something,it wasn't that hard to make You will need: •Any lockable notebook and it's keys •A pen or pencil •Paper •Glue or tape it •Stickers or any decorative items similar (optional) Instructions: 1)Take the notebook and write you name and decorate (optional) 2)turn the notebook to the back and stick a piece of paper onto it (can be used for drawing or scribbling) 3)have fun writing your emotions or things you feel you can't tell anyone or really anything you want to put in it 4)after a while it is best to either get it make a book mark so you can remember where you last wrote(they can be made with a piece of paper and decorations like drawings or stickers) Hope this helped anyone who is planning on making a diary/journal ☺
